What is foundation repair?
Foundation repair is the process of returning the foundation as close to it’s original position as possible. This can be settlement, bowed walls, sheared walls, or leaning walls. Holding, or stabilizing, a foundation is not a repair, it is exactly what it sounds like.

Can I fix my wall from the inside?
The quick answer is no. A bowed wall cannot be “forced out” from the inside. You can stabilize a bowed wall with interior systems. A bowed wall needs investigated to see the extent of the bow. The rule of thumb is that a wall can be stabilized as long as the bow is less than 25% of it’s original thickness. (2″ of movement in an 8″ wall)
